Time may heal some wounds and with others maybe lessen the inflammation. But how come some triggers have the ability to cut some wounds wide open again and also bring salt into them?
I love what you say about learning to fix the roof as the rain pours through cracks. Oh the unimaginable pain when the roof caves in, but the amazing wonder and miracle that we have to keep rising back up after every fall. And when those stumbling blocks can be turned over into stepping stones to propel us forward--or wounds grow into stronger and more durable scar tissue--what a miracle that is!
