So you may publish many articles on platforms like Medium, Substack, or Wordpress. You may also submit works to professional or academic journals or thousands of other types of publications. You might even write a book. This is all very wonderful. However, some works may take you much longer to write — years, decades, or even whole lifetimes.

If you are a writer(as well as an artist in countless other art forms), do not feel discouraged or like a failure if you do not produce works at a certain rate. Sometimes you will be able to stream out an article with abounding riches in just a few hours that will capture the attention of countless readers. With other works, you may only stretch out a few paragraphs every so often over years and decades to finally weave together a great work you have taken a great part of your life to compose. Both types of works can hold immeasurable riches and lasting value in themselves, each crafted through a unique and equally-invigorating journey.
