I cannot believe this type of narrative at all. This is so contrary from viewpoints like that expressed in the Catholic prayer(also expressed by other denominations): "lead all souls to heaven, especially at most need of thy mercy." Or to go to the Bible in Timothy 2:3-4--

"God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. "
