The 2025 Super Bowl just ended on February 9, 2025. Estimated to have generated billions in revenue and spending, the New Orleans game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles entertained hundreds of millions of in-person and media viewers worldwide. Now, billions globally look forward to the next sporting championships(in the U.S., each year always brings rolling seasons of popular sports like baseball, basketball, and hockey). In addition to popular domains, numerous sporting championships may be quite obscure and unknown yet action-packed and riveting in their own right. Let’s take a look at some of these upcoming 2025 obscure sports championships(especially since there is still time for interested spectators to get tickets or plan their home watch party).

Get Your Tickets Now For Some Classic Foosball!

The World Foosball Promotion, separate from the International Table Soccer Federation, hosts premier foosball(table soccer) competitions throughout the U.S. This year, the Hall of Fame Classic will be held at the Westgate Las Vegas Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada from April 9–13, 2025. Check out the site for hotel reservations if you want to be a live spectator(or player). Also, the events are livestreamed. If you can’t make the April event then check out the other events held by the WFP, ITSF, or other federations around the globe. This game may typically be played as a fun pastime at the local bar or arcade(or in a friend’s basement), but do not be “foosed!” Tournament players must abide by strict rules and often have years of training. And with some tournament top prizes paying out a few thousand dollars each, you can see how some might even make this a professional gig.
