A key part of what you're saying is remove hate entirely, just pure love for person and their unlimited worth no matter what sin or monsters consume them. Then you can be in their corner to help them dispel anything that negatively clouds that goodness and love so that they and others are harmed(same gender relationships and transgender identity are two things that have been proven to not be unhealthy or harmful).
